  Annuals

Annual plants complete their entire life cycle in a year or less. There are annuals for fall and winter, like pansies, and annuals for spring and summer, like impatiens. Annuals bloom continually during their lifecycle and should be fertilized every 8 to 12 weeks with a slow release fertilizer or every 7 to 10 days with water-soluble fertilizer.

         Perennials
The pleasure of perennials is that they return every year! When choosing perennials determine how many hours of sunlight the perennial will receive. Plant in groups of three or five of the same variety for visual impact. Choose perennials with different bloom times to have a succession of blooms.
Spring Flowering Trees
Flowering landscape trees are the crown jewels of the yard. Perhaps no other plants, individually, can have as great an impact on how a yard looks in spring.
Colorful Spring - Blooming Shrubs
Many flower garden designs call for tall elements. Why not include an early-blooming shrub for color and interest? Early-blooming shrubs add cheer to any garden.
